Lydia Perry BSc

Sports Therapist

Lydia is a sports therapist with experience working with both professional and semi-professional athletes within all age groups, ranging from under-11’s to seniors.

After playing county sports from a young age, Lydia knew that she wanted to work in sport. Subsequent to witnessing her teammates get injured and seeing the toll it took on both their physical and mental wellbeing, she knew that she wanted to be able to treat people’s injuries and get them back to a performance level that was even higher than before getting injured.

Lydia studied at Birmingham City University for three years where she attained her BSc in Sports Therapy. Alongside her studies, she completed a placement year with a professional cricket team. Lydia is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists and has a keen interest in staying up to date with new and exciting treatment methods.

When not at work, Lydia enjoys a range of activities from going to the gym, to playing cricket at the weekend. She also enjoys skiing holidays and discovering new places with her friends and family.
